A large financial institution desired to diversify and enter the marketplace for selling mortgage-backed securities on the secondary market. To sell efficiently and profitability, their in-house traders needed an application that could provide a real-time estimate of the sales price of a given security at any time during the trading day.
Solution
eSage Group worked with our client’s New York trading team to design and implement a set of Java based proprietary pricing algorithms that utilized real-time market information from multiple data services to update a set of target prices on a dashboard.
